Signing up for an Ironman is a big commitment. It's not just a single day event, but a journey over many months. I didn't want to overlook the importance of the whole journey. In addition to the race, I wanted the training to be a full experience.
I decided one on one coaching would allow me to make the most my time. After meeting with Peter, I immediately felt he was someone who could help me meet my goals. He was someone I felt comfortable communicating with on a near-daily basis. The weeks of customized workouts were challenging but manageable. By race day I was anxious, but confident I was well prepared.
In the end my race was well executed and exceeded all of my expectations. The same could be said about my training leading up to it. I enjoyed every minute of it!
